1. Scope and data controller
This Privacy Policy applies to the Astrynum mobile application, astrynum.com, and related support communications (together, the “Services”). “Astrynum,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the application publisher identified as the developer or seller in the official app-store listing for your region. That publisher is the controller of personal data it actually receives through the Services.

2. Local-first architecture
Astrynum has no user-account system and no Astrynum profile server. Your numerology and astrology profile is calculated on your device. We do not receive your profile merely because you enter it into the app. This distinction is important: information processed only by software on your device is not available to us, even though it may be personal or sensitive to you.
3. Categories of information
Information you enter and keep locally
This may include a display name; birth date, time, birthplace label, coordinates, and historical UTC offset; optional phone digits and meaningful dates; numerology, astrology, house-system, planet-mapping, and scoring preferences; lottery selections and custom game rules; saved sets, favorites, notes, and tags; language and notification preferences; and encrypted or unencrypted backup content.
Information processed automatically on the device
The app derives Number DNA values, personal cycles, planetary positions, aspects, transits, houses, resonance scores, rankings, generated sets, usage counters, and scheduled reminder content. These derived values remain local unless you deliberately export, copy, or share them.
Limited information processed off-device
If you visit the website, contact support, open the optional map, obtain the app through a platform, or use Premium purchasing, the relevant provider may process network, device, subscription, and transaction metadata as described below.
Premium purchase and entitlement information
Google Play processes payment details and purchase transactions. Astrynum communicates directly with Google Play Billing to request products, start purchases, acknowledge completed transactions, and check whether this device's Google account owns an active Premium subscription. Astrynum stores a local Premium-access flag on the device. We do not receive your full payment-card details, operate a purchase-verification server, or send purchase receipts to a separate subscription-management provider.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Where consent is the applicable legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object as described in Section 13.
5. Storage, biometrics, and notifications
Your profile uses operating-system secure storage backed by Android Keystore or Apple Keychain where available. Other preferences and saved content use app-local storage. Security ultimately depends on your device, operating system, passcode, backups, and settings.
Optional biometric matching is performed by the operating system. Astrynum receives an authentication result, not your fingerprint or face template. Optional reminders are scheduled locally. Their text may appear on the lock screen according to your system settings.
6. Optional OpenStreetMap connection
Only when you open the coordinate map, the app requests map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (“OSMF”). OSMF may receive your IP address, app/device and request metadata, time, and requested tile area; the tile area can indicate the general place being viewed. Astrynum does not request GPS permission, send the saved profile to us, or use a geocoding search service.
OSMF independently determines its processing. Review the OSMF Privacy Policy and Tile Usage Policy. Avoid this connection by entering coordinates manually without opening the map.
7. Exports, clipboard, links, and support
Copying a result, JSON/CSV export, or backup places content on the system clipboard. Other apps, keyboards, clipboard synchronization, or the operating system may access it. If you send an export to support, it becomes information we receive; do not send profile or backup data unless requested and necessary.
External links open in your browser under the destination's policy. Email messages disclose your address and message content to the involved email providers.
8. App stores, operating systems, and service providers
Google Play processes purchases under Google's terms and privacy notice. Google, device manufacturers, payment platforms, website hosts, content-delivery networks, and email providers may independently process installation, purchase, diagnostics, device, network, or support data under their own notices. Review Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not disclose your locally stored profile to advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information actually in our possession where required by valid law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Services, subject to legally required notice.
9. No sale, targeted advertising, or profiling
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. The app contains no advertising SDK. Google Play processes purchase and subscription events for billing and entitlement management, not behavioral advertising by Astrynum. Astrynum calculations do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Because the website performs no sale or behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals do not change its behavior.
10. Website data and cookies
The website code does not set cookies, create advertising identifiers, or run analytics trackers. The production hosting provider may keep security and access logs containing IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status, and timestamp. Before launch, the publisher will identify the production host and align retention with the minimum operational period reasonably required.
11. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you edit it, reset/delete data in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall. Keychain/secure-storage persistence after uninstall can vary by platform. Android application backup is disabled in the current build, although platform behavior may change.
Support communications and necessary legal records are retained only as long as reasonably required for the request, security, accounting, dispute, or legal purpose, then deleted or de-identified. Third parties set their own retention periods.
12. Security and international transfers
We use safeguards appropriate to the limited information we receive, but no device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Use a device passcode, current operating system, and password-protected AES-256-GCM backup. We cannot recover a forgotten backup password.
Website, email, app-store, or map providers may process data outside your country, including in jurisdictions with different laws. Where we initiate a restricted international transfer, we will use a recognized legal mechanism where required. OSMF and platform providers control their own transfers.
13. Privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to know or access personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. California residents may also have rights to know, correct, delete, limit certain sensitive-information uses, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive equal service. We will not discriminate for a valid request.
Most Astrynum profile data is not held by us: use in-app edit, export, and reset controls to exercise control immediately. Our data deletion page provides step-by-step instructions. For data we may hold, email privacy@astrynum.com. We may verify the request and may deny or limit it where law permits. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority. We do not charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or a fee is otherwise permitted.
14. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18. Lottery-related features are only for people meeting the legal age and eligibility requirements where they live. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data on an Astrynum server. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information to us.
15. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. The effective date and version will change, and material changes may be presented through the app, website, or store listing where appropriate. Earlier versions may be requested by email.
